In recent years a plethora of advancements have been made to even understand the genetic basis of phenotypes and it’s computational analyses which has led to progress in a variety of bio-medical arenas, including Dentistry. In this context, artificial intelligence and bio-informatics have paved the way for advances in genome studies with efficient computational tools to analyze and manage the analysed and collected data. This review provides a brief overview on bio-informatics and its various applications in clinical dentistry.
