Term personalized medicine refers a medical model in which healthcare, medical decisions are customized and/or products to be used are tailored based on the need of the individual patient. In personalized medicine physicians and dentist recognize the variation between each patients to provide custom made concern in shape of health among the individual1 . As periodontal disease is a complex interaction of genetic factors, biological factors, behavioral factors, environmental factors and other factors, susceptibility and expression of disease differs from individuals2 . The term “Personalized medicine”, is not a new approach but it is an extension form of ethinic approaches in understanding and treating disease with higher precision3 .
