Impact of Generative AI Tools on Modern Project Management Practices

Abstract :

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping project management by enabling automation, predictive analytics, and improved decision support. This study evaluates the influence of AI-driven tools on project efficiency, risk mitigation, and managerial decision-making. Using a mixed-method approach, both quantitative performance data and qualitative expert insights were analyzed. The findings suggest that AI significantly enhances operational outcomes while also introducing challenges such as ethical concerns, implementation costs, and skill requirements. The study provides practical recommendations for integrating AI into project environments effectively and responsibly.
