Role of the Corresponding Author

In the case of research articles with more than one author, one author is named the 'Corresponding Author', while the rest remain 'Co-Authors'. It is the responsibility of the Corresponding Author to ensure that all queries and uncertainties about the accuracy, authenticity, and integrity of any part of the research article that may arise at any point, are addressed appropriately and clarified.

It is the responsible of the Corresponding Author to see to that the following conditions are met -

  1. making sure that all co-authors are satisfied with the final draft of a manuscript before proceeding to submit it to the Technoarete Transactions on Current Research in Public Health and Safety and Innovation to be considered for publication. This includes ensuring that the details of all authors involved, including names, the order of authors, affiliation details, etc, are accurate;
  2. handling the interests of all the co-authors involved by managing all lines of communication between the Technoarete Transactions on Current Research in Public Health and Safety and Innovation and the co-authors, both before and after the publication* of the article;
  3. ensuring complete transparency on the re-usage of any material within the research article, and clearly stating the usage of unpublished material (for instance, manuscripts that may be in press) included within the manuscript, in a cover letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief of the Technoarete Transactions on Current Research in Public Health and Safety and Innovation;
  4. ensuring that all claims, acknowledgments, and transparency on data statements from authors involved, are included in the manuscript as required (see above).

*The responsibility of handling all lines of communication between the Technoarete Transactions on Current Research in Public Health and Safety and Innovation and all involved co-authors during submission, proofing, and publication, may be assigned to a 'Contact Author' or 'Submitting Author'. In such cases, it is important to ensure that the Corresponding Author is explicitly designated in the manuscript.

Author contributions

Please check the Instructions for Authors of the Journal that you are submitting to for specific instructions regarding contribution statements. In absence of specific instructions and in research fields where it is possible to describe discrete efforts, the journal recommends authors to include contribution statements in the work that specifies the contribution of every author in order to promote transparency. These contributions should be listed at the end of the submission.
