Abstract : The government actively encourages exports since they bring in significant foreign exchange for the Nation. Exports also promote cross-border technology and know-how exchange, which raises business quality standards. Exports of merchandise are items that leave a nation's statistical borders. The goal of the Indian merchandise plan is to incentivize exporters to offset the costs and inefficiencies associated with infrastructure. The primary objective of this paper is to analyze the schemes available for merchandise export entrepreneurs and their development using MEIS in the Namakkal District. The survey method was employed, with data collection conducted through well-structured questionnaires administered to entrepreneurs in the Namakkal District. This study covers four taluks in the Namakkal district, namely, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Tiruchengode, and Paramathi Velur. 105 export entrepreneurs in the field of Raw Granite, Cotton fabrics, towels, Bed spreads, Rigs & Eggs trading were selected as the sample size of the study. A convenient sampling method is used to select the sample entrepreneurs in the Namakkal District. The study revealed that merchandise schemes provided for export are highly useful for the development of export enterprises in the Namakkal District.
